Working in partnership with the City of Chandler, Amanda Mollindo created portraits of students who attend Chandler Public Library’s Talk Time and English Tutoring programs. The adult literacy program at Chandler Public Library serves 359 individuals from 46 different home countries.

This project shares the faces of a wide variety of individuals from diverse religious, ethnic and economic backgrounds who have one common goal – to learn English. This work was exhibited alongside additional portraits by Josh Loeser at Chandler Center for the Arts in 2018.
